Every Inchie Monday -- Necklace

Quite an easy one this week on Every Inchie Monday, which was just as well as we have been away for a long weekend. The stampbord one has gems stuck on, and for the sewn one I made a pearl necklace, and placed it on red leather.

Tag Tuesday -- Jewellery

I didn't find this one very easy, and resorted to a vintage stamp of a woman, and surrounded her with different types of jewellery. The background is distress ink and the swirls embossed in gold. Luckily I have a good collection of broken jewellery and bits picked up in charity shops. I don't usually work in pink, so that was a bit of a challenge as well.

Every Inchie Monday -- Pavilion

Not an easy one this week on Every Inchie Monday, I don't think I'm the only one struggling with this one. I have made an attempt at drawing a Japanese tea pavilion and sewn a garden one.

Tag Tuesday -- Net

I wasn't sure how to tackle this one, and in the end made two. The sewn one is on a background of fabric printed with my gelli plate and butterflies attached to it. I then sewed some net over the top. I hate the thought of people catching them, but they do.
The other one has a distress ink background with stamped fish and yarn seaweed with some glass type bubbles added as well. I then with great difficulty stuck the net over the top. Unfortunately, lots of the wrong fish are caught in nets and are often not thrown back in the sea.

Every Inchie Monday -- Lamp

For my Lamp inchies this week I have sewn with shiny silver fabric an Aladin type lamp. For the stampbord one I have drawn a Tiffany lamp.

Tag Tuesday -- Adventure

I went to Africa for my adventure this week and made a slightly larger tag than I normally do. I just couldn't get my elephant on a smaller one, well not with everything else I wanted to put on it. I used some card from some packaging, distress inked it and then added my stamped images.

Every Inchie Monday -- Wall

Wall is the word this week on Every Inchie Monday, and for the stampbord one I have drawn a very small great wall of China. The sewn one is a painted piece of lutradur with embroidery on the top.

Tag Tuesday -- Correspondence

A quickie made before I head off for my course. The tag was coloured with distress inks and embossed with white for a background using my favourite script stamp. I added two stamped Crafty Individuals images, a stamp, a modern pen nib and a pen made from a feather. I placed some tissue tape at the base of the tag, a small envelope with a letter in, and a Par Avion sticker.

Every Inchie Monday -- Window

This week the word is window, and for the sewn one I have made a window with a felt background, a sewn window frame and a lace curtain. ( It looks a bit tatty now I see it on here) The stampbord one is painted with distress markers, and I then scratched the window frame back to the white surface of the stampbord.

Tag Tuesday -- Photography

Very late, as I have had a friend here this week and we have been doing textile projects, so not a piece of card or paper to be seen. On my tag I have a distressed and textured background with the dictionary definition of photography. I added a photo of my Great Grandma, a die cut camera and a length of Tim's film strip. I also found a little charm of a camera.
